On arrival at this hotel you notice how friendly the staff are,our luggage was taken to our room no 51 (superb view across the bay from this room)by the general manager Anthony,nothing is to much trouble for Anthony and his staff.The food ,views and homely atmosphere of the hotel draw myself and my wife back to visit as much as we can this is our second visit this year.Our room was clean and we have new laundry every day with ample supply of tea and coffee ingredients for our use.I can not fault this hotel and we are looking forward to our next visit.

What a really wonderful hotel. Very pretty indeed. We were warmly welcomed by the Reception staff who were just lovely. The room was beautiful, large and had a really big window so whilst lieing in bed you had a wonderful view of the sea, which was particularly beautiful first thing in the morning, looking up at the pink skies and glimmering sea. The staff in the bar were so lovely and friendly. The food (even if served at the bar lounge) was first class. The breakfast and dinner served in the famous Orchid Restaurant was so lovely and the waiting staff very professional and friendly – a very warm atmosphere indeed. We really loved staying at this hotel and plan to go back in October, and we would love to stay there over Christmas too! I would absolute recommend this marvellous hotel to you. I am really missing staying there and being in South Devon – roll on our return!

Superb weekend spent at the Corbyn Head Hotel, the service was second to none . Rooms excellent, as was the food, beautiful views of the bay ,highly recommended. We have spent many years in Torquay hotels (33 years in all) Having stayed at the resorts (so called) premier Hotels we can honestly say the Corbyn Head Hotel is head and shoulders above some of the four star hotels we have used in the past. A big thank you to all of the staff for their very helpful and professional manner which made our stay such a pleasure,cannot wait to return.

We have just returned from a family holiday in Torquay where 7 of us stayed at the Corbyn Head Hotel. We had a great time the weather was fantastic there is loads to do, from walking to the town, to the numerous bus rides and boat rides to the surrounding area. The hotel was fantastic we stayed in 3 different rooms and each one was very well looked after. Each day the beds were made and fresh milk, tea and biscuits were left for us all to enjoy. The staff at the hotel could not have been any more helpful especially with our 8 year old she was treated like a princess. Nothing was too much for them she could swap between the adult and child menu at dinner of an evening. She could even sample the food to see if she liked it. We found nothing was too much for the waiting on staff and they were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was very clean and kept in excellent order and condition. Another bonus to the hotel is that you can use the “sister” hotels facilities which include a sauna and a heated outside pool in the hotel opposite. We used this on many occasions and once again the staff were very helpful giving you towels and helping with any queries. The hotel bar is reasonably priced in fact the alcopops that I drink were cheaper than in the town!! We couldnt have asked more for our holiday and we have already booked for next year!! I am sure you will enjoy your stay as much as us!
