For the more active guest, Torquay and it’s surrounding area provides a wealth of things to do, including, several fine golf courses, water sports, deep sea fishing, horse riding and of course, miles of glorious coastal walks along which you can enjoy some of the most breathtaking scenery.

The Corbyn Head is a wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful Devon countryside and with many places of interest just a short drive away, you are never short of things to do!

There are countless Castles, National Trust Houses, Country Parks as well as the traditional seaside activities one would expect on the English Riviera. Dartmoor, with its ruggedly beautiful landscape is just a few miles away, as is the medieval town of Totnes with its Norman castle, narrow streets and individual shops and the picturesque town of Dartmouth.

The cities of Plymouth and Exeter and neighbouring county of Cornwall are easily reached by car and offer a wealth of excellent shopping and attractions of their own.
